At the center of the story is Laura, a psychiatrist whose path crosses the lives of three women from different cultural backgrounds — Elena, Amina and Mei — each confronting a different form of emotional, social or personal oppression. As their stories begin to intersect, solidarity becomes both a source of strength and a new field of conflict, exposing how difficult freedom can become when others begin deciding what freedom should look like.

Moving between intimate drama, psychological tension and moments of provocative confrontation, the film examines a universal question: when does love stop being love and become possession?
